What people do you think that it can be the price for the box? Does anyone know about similar recent releases by other artists that we can use as a reference?

FUCKING GREAT if this is for real!

My doubts:
- 4 x discs CD compilation (title TBC)

I have been putting together all edits, extended versions, mixes, unreleased tracks, official live version from released singles/albums and total running time for 66 songs is 4h45min which almost fits in 4 CDs but sure in my collection there are a few songs missing, so i think we couldn´t get every-single-song-released. (Unless they add the edits/extended versions to the original albums which come from)

Anyway...This is much much more than i was expecting

But who knows, for now?

I don't think there will be all edits. I can't see any sense in 'In Charge Of My Heart' or 'Manipulator' 7'' edits placed back to back with full length versions.

Official comment from GT regarding the 4CD compilation, via Facebook: "Just to put the record straight - there are not 4 discs of 'unreleased' stuff"

I got this info in my mailbox and hope it is genuine.
(should have posted this remark alongside the tracklisting of course but I was too exited reading this and therefore I posted it straight away)

The ONLY gripe I had with the FM Solo Collection was that there was a LOT of unused space on the discs and I think that's what we're going to get with this little "Lot" given that there are 4 discs outside of the main albums to contend with.

Its a very small gripe and I'm absolutely certain that this will be absolutely brilliant.

Can't wait!

I might be reading too much into things here but anyone notice that the last track on Fun On Earth is Smile? Tenuous link but it could be a nod to his former band, a nice way to close the circle if this is to be his last solo outing.
My heart got hijacked by you.......

Something else that has kept my attention is the short lenght for most of the album tracks.

As for the edits, I think that only "My Country" will make it, and probably "Manipulator" too. I suspect that the rest of the single-only tracks will consist in songs that didn't make their way into the album, one-off singles and extended mixes. Probably a live b-side here and there too. If the "Shove It" CD will be based on the UK release, we might expect "Heaven For Everyone" by RT and "Feel The Force" too.

As for me, only 'My Country', 'Cowboys & Indians' and probably 'Life Changes' edits works very well, because original versions are long indeed. All other edits ('Manipulator', 'Power To Love', 'In Charge Of My Heart', 'Pressure On') are pointless.

And of course there are two edited versions of I Cry For You, the single version, which clocks 4:21 and the version on which Freddie appears to be on backing vocals, running time 4:12.........

There are 3 versions of 'I Cry For You': 1/ album version 2/ single remix by John Deacon 3/ extended mix by John Deacon.
In last post I meant pure 'edits' not 'remixes'. To clarify what 'edit' is - it can be easily made from common (album or one-off single) version in sound editor by cutting some parts of the track.
It's impossible to create 'I Cry For You' or 'Love Lies Bleeding' single mixes (which are shorter) from album versions of these songs.
