They'll indulge anything. They want to play, They want a new audience, they'd like to set a sponsorship with Moët & Chandon.
Yeah it was pretty gay and corny. Oh well

This was a bit much for me.

So, one of the greatest guitarists of all time is nailing one of the greatest solos of all time, on a fantastic stage set, and the videos doesn't change angles once away from that train wreck (visually and vocally)?

It looks like he's trying to "out camp" Freddie, imho. It's too cheesy and that little laugh at the end makes him sound like Pee Wee Herman. "See my couch...HeeHee"...

I don't know what to say. On the one hand, the singing was pretty decent I think. Put the delivery seemed a bit flat. Sort of like he wants to look flamboyant, but he doesn't have it quite in him yet.
Maybe he'll improve as the tour progresses.
In all honestly, though, I think it's closer to the "Freddie" Queen than Paul Rodgers was.

This is the first video/performance of Q+AL i ever watched/heard. Its horrible.
When I fist saw it I called my wife who attended me through my "Queen fan life" for 25 years and asked her:"Darling, please watch this video!"
She watched 10 seconds, asked "Is this with Brian and Roger?" - "Yes" - "Ok, now they´re finally making fools of themselves".
Then she turned around without any other word and went out of the room.....
Nothing nore to say.....
Thank God, here in Germany nobody(!!!!!!!!!!!!) knows Q+AL, but they still sell more CDs here without touring than in US....

Freddie was never like that! Even when he wore his harlequin tights, he seemed completely natural. (I know I am not putting this very well.) The way he walked on to the stage, glass of champagne, speaking to the crowd, toasting them - a bit extravagant, but in a very naturally charming way.
This guy looks just ----- Honestly, I have no words to express what I feel. Something out of a tranny burlesque!
Brian and Roger should take a very long hard look at this clip!

Yeah...didn´t expect that.I don´t care about a artist personal life and preferences. I´m a huge Queen and Freddie fan, so it would a hypocrite if I started to complain about Adam be homosexual or whatever he wants to be. That said,I think that kind of performance doesn´t fit a Queen show. Freddie was camp (and I allways liked that) but he seems to understand that he was doing music and shows for everbody...not just to heteros or homos or anybody else. That is what Queen was always about...universal music. Unfortunately, I felt that I was watching a bit of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, and not a rock show...and I have to admit that it bugs me. When thinks like that start to happen, it´s not universal anymore and there would people who would love and people who would hate and simply label it as a gay show or something...and I don´t think Queen needs that at this point. Queen is for all kinds of people, and I hope this never chance in the minds of the average joe (well, mine will not)

"ICE CREAM - HOT DOGS" - "ICE CREAM - HOT DOGS"
I wouldn`t judge the tour because of one song/performance....but yes, it`s a bit much.

Tranny Bulesque, what a male, gay or otherwise, dressed in trousers and and a jacket is not a tranny.
As for what Freddie was doing in the 70's, semi balletic posses in various leotard, toasting the audience with Moet and throwing roses from the stage. What the hell is the difference.
Freddie got panned for that too, if you remember. In fact the only people who thought it worked at the time were the fans, and even some of those after ANATO and ADATR were beginning to question and accuse.
As for as the tranny comment. I think you'll find the four members of Queen did just that in the video for I Want To Break Free!

well, darlings,
whatever you say.
i like it!
it is what it is. an interpretation of a song by a great guest singer. well done, imho. .
i guess the singing could be done a bit more to the point. hey, but that was premiere night.
yes. it's camp. what's the matter ?
it's a show. and it's for an american audience. so this shall be ok.
did anybody ever listen to the lyrics, anyway ?
nobody claims about the sage set being gold instead of black and white... that's a very odd thing, too, isn't it ? full of decadence... how dare they ? !
so if Glambert is interpreting a song by it's character, what's wrong ? it's his kind of thing. that's simply how he does it. imho.
THIS is better than most of paul rodgers' appearances.
just fun. nothing too serious, though. take it or leave it.
and... guys... you're complaining about something queen has done in the 70 and somehow lost in the 80s... unusual stage performance...
ah. dig it.
... oh... and it's a very golden moment when he realizes that the bottle isn't open... lmao. watch his expression!
