Lambert and Killer Gay

I like it. Do you people want a real band with unique personalities melding together or do you want a queen cover band? I digress I don't like it. I love it. Adam Lambert is an amazing talent when he won American Idol and he sung we are the Champions he blew me away. He's an extremely talented guy.

I understood Adam Lambert came in 2nd on that show?
Didn't realise that he'd won it...

What do you expect, it's kdj2hot. I'd be more surprised if he got some facts RIGHT. Seeing how much he likes AL just adds to my conviction that Q+AL is not worth my time.

I think that Adam may have (and likely) received the most votes from real people. At the time, there was supposedly an issue with millions of votes coming from a rural area, that did not have the population to produce such a result. I don't know what became of that situation or if it was ever proven to be what actually happened. Maybe the Glamberts know.

Anyway, the Killer Queen segment has grown on me. I liked it that Brian got involved at the LA show - sitting on the couch. That was cute!

Perhaps Mr. Lambert has found a new career as a Killer cover frontman for 70's/80's bands wishing to tribute their own material. He is apparently for hire but will require a very high salary for his performance.

The problem I have with it was it is SOOOO self aware. Look I love gay people. Freddie could out gay Adam 100X and I love it. Freddie had probably had more men by Adam's age than Adam ever will. But dammit, when Freddie went on stage to perform Killer Queen or even talk to the audience doing bows in a leotard...he was not being so self aware. It was his personality, an expression of artistry. Freddie had a subtlety. Hell even the TotP music video for Killer Queen was more subtle, and live, Freddie was more interested in his mastery of the piano than mastery of silly imagery.

Adam looked like a member of a burlesque show. It was so over the top. His gestures and inflections on words. Maybe it is just the problem with American's trying to do British style and campness...
