This is not Queen on tour with another ego (ie. Paul Rodgers). This guy is also not *trying* to be like Freddie. He's being himself and he actually IS doing the music justice.
I was skeptical at first, yes, because he basically got the gig via American Idol... But he's really starting to prove himself worthy of being where he is.

I have tickets to the Perth concert here in Australia. I have been a Queen fan since I was about 8 when my brother bought the News of the World album. I guess I am still not convinced on the Adam Lambert thing either but I will say the guy can sing. No doubt about that. Watching the iHeart Radio concerts I guess he probably shouldn't talk as much because he does come across as a bit over the top, and laying it on like the clip shown here for Killer Queen is not to my taste. But, I'm going to see Brian and Roger mainly anyway and to hear these great songs performed live.
I should also add that I'm excited to see Spike perform as well. He's been part of their live shows for a long time now. :)
