More of that Jazz is a terrific song.
The first side of Hot Space *ahem* rocks (as opposed to the second side which *should* rock but doesn't)
The Miracle album is the real stinker in the lot.

...and I've never liked any live version of Love of my Life.

to me Mr Bad Guy has better songs than most stuff on The Works album

Hot Space is a fun, enjoyable album

AKOM is not shite

The Works is not shite

SHA is boring as fuck and is well eclipsed by ADATR and even The Miracle. Mr. Bad Guy is another that's better than SHA

Brian May wears a wig

Roger Taylor's an utter dick, and I don't understand why that fox hunting fucker is given the time of day by Brian

Roger isn't fit to perform on stage

Their live shows with AL are autotuned

There's no demos left in the archive suitable for a proper release

Knebworth is fully filmed, but they'll never let us have it

Alvin the chipmunk sings "Save Me" at Hammy '79.

** We're actually the only people in the world that want the "anthology" and the band monitors opinions on this site.

Greg Brooks is a....

Again, I'm agreeing with all these opinions.

However its worth noting that even a song that is classified as 'shit' can still be strutted the fuck out of around the kitchen at every possible opportunity and therefore becomes 'cool'

I don't know if I like half the songs I do because they're examples of either masterful songwriting, cheesy 80s funk, nostalgia trips, or I'm just plain programmed to be perverse in my tastes.

As someone pointed out, Cool Cat is an amazing track. Absolutely. I love Freddie's falsetto. Glorious.

Who else thinks too that Sheer Heart Attack is the worst studio album from the seventies?

Oh wait, before I forget, The Prophet's song is my least favourite song from Night At The Opera

Despite the popular opinion that Brian is approachable and quite humble, there have been several instances documented in the press, anecdotes by other people, and behaviour on instagram and twitter that show he may in fact have the biggest ego of any rock star ever.

Roger is a consistently better songwriter than Freddie. Although Freddie is possibly a better composer.

To be fair, that's still anecdotal evidence, countered by loads and loads of claims to the contrary. I don't think he's all 'evil' and I don't think he's all 'nice and humble' either but, then again, I've never met him so I'm not qualified to give an opinion.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

I agree with Sebastian
I have met Brian (and Roger). Both were charming and graceful. I happened across the Hotel they were staying in in Stockholm last year just as they were preparing to leave for the show. So as far as I was concerned they were working.
If I had bumped into them doing the shopping at Waitrose and asked for autographs I suspect they may have been less accommodating.
The point is they are normal humans with a normal range of human behaviours/reactions.
Thus every anecdotal report of how nice/abrupt/gracious/rude they were is just that. How they were at that moment.
I am a health care professional and professionally I am consistently polite and kind. But if you catch me when the car won't start in the local supermarket I may very well be pissed off if you try to ask my advice.

Biggest ego of any Rock star ever? That's some claim. I think he could be difficult in the studio, like most Genius rockers. Mercury and Bowie clashed heads from what I hear. All the greats have a big ego. He's also short tempered as per Mr. May. Yes he did say that. But biggest ego ever? That's nonsense. All members of Queen were good people by all accounts.
