. . . . You must meet him and tell him, you never know he may take you home and introduce you to moooom and daaaaaaaaaaaad ! LMFAO *[/QUOTE]
Laugh your fucking ass off all you like. I have met him several times, professionally, he's a nice guy.
Of course you can sling whatever insults you want. You quite simply haven't got a clue.

Met who ?
I am sure he is a nice guy but he certainly does not deserve the fame he is getting.
At least Freddie earned his fame and fortune where as Lambert got it easily.
One is a legend and one is very fake.

OK, if you guys can stop being dicks for 30 seconds, does anybody actually have this album?
I have a bizarre distortion on the crowd noise and some of the vocals, like someone is clattering plastic tubs together, it comes and goes. It isn't on the vinyl, but is on the CD and BR, and I am trying to determine if this is my equipment as I cannot replicate the problem on any other recording I own, but it seems unlikely they'd fuck up the mixing this badly.

gave the album a spin, even though I thought I wouldn't
regardless of who's playing / singing; the cut and paste job between different shows is not good. ruins the flow. even more distracting is the fact that they move from arenas, to theatres, to outdoor, and back again.... makes the soundscape very uneven. (even though the quality is good)
They should have put out one complete show..
the set confirms what I've thought since 2012. lambert cannot sing rock music. simple as that. this album sounds like Brian & Roger with a carefully selected Gallileo from the WWRY production. Very polished, and a broadway vibe to the vocals...
listen to Tyler Warren's background vocals on Tear it Up - that's much more of a rock voice. (incidentally - the post 2017 tracks seem to benefit from TW's vocals)
On the ballads lambert works better, and Who wants..is by far and away the highlight of the set. Hats of to him for that!
Love Kills works good to, especially as we don't have very much to compare it with...
Overall - I don't see how this is going to win over any doubters, but I'm sure anybody who enjoys Qal already will enjoy this set very much.
(It is a very lazy compilation.
I don’t believe for one second they think these are the best performances they’ve done.
I think it comes down to the fact that the majority was already in the can and thus minimal cost in post production)

Sounds pretty dire.just a way for Brian and Roger to make a few quid, because their tour was postponed, after all they are only poor multi millionaire's.Not much effort required on their part either.I hope they didn't include the drum battle where Roger is getting shown up by the younger skin pounder.Adam is not a rock singer, but he is far better suited to singing ballads.I just hope Brian and Roger are not tempted to take AL into the Studio and make an album. They could not do that with Paul Rodger's and i think it would be a disaster.

I don’t hear any distortion on my CD or BR. Excellent sound and video! Watched it yesterday evening and I‘m really happy with it. Brings back great memories of fantastic concerts.

I doubt it would be a Desaster. Queen is en vogue now. This new album has been #1 on ITunes UK since it’s release. It‘s currently not in stock in the Queen Online store, waiting for a new delivery in a few days, before they can ship new DVDs or BRs.
It seems the demand is there.

It could be Paul Rodgers.

Queen are in vogue, really ? Queen have not been in vogue since Night At The Opera and maybe Live Aid.

Love Kills is done well

Queen in vogue with Adam really? Well hype is a wonderful word that gets things sold pretty damn fast before people realise they have been ripped off.
All the albums Queen released with Freddie need to be celebrated instead of this limp pathetic album with Lambert screeching his way through the bands catalogue and i was disgusted that he even sand two Freddie solo songs "Love Kills" & "I was born to love you" and he never done those songs justice either.
Queen Around The World Cd will end up in the bargain bin in a few weeks time.

I take it you've never heard the Queen versions of those song.
In the bargain bin I. A few weeks time. . . . ?
Have you actually seen the way it's selling at the moment?
The way you're talking about it, you must have the album, otherwise your talking about something you haven't heard and therefore once again talking about something you're not qualified to do

Listened to the beginning of it on Spotify and it doesn't sound bad. Adam Lambert actually works better when you take the visual aspect away. They should have smuggled in a few rarities there though, could have been expanded easily by 4 or 5 songs.

Being at number one on the UK itunes for 2 days is not necessarily going to lead to a lot of sales. The album has already fallen a position. It did not make it onto the no.1 position in the US, it is currently 8th.
