. . . . . i was disgusted that he even sand two Freddie solo songs "Love Kills" & "I was born to love you" and he never done those songs justice either.
Queen Around The World Cd will end up in the bargain bin in a few weeks time.
I take it you've never heard the Queen versions of those song.

In the bargain bin I. A few weeks time. . . . ?

Have you actually seen the way it's selling at the moment?

The way you're talking about it, you must have the album, otherwise your talking about something you haven't heard and therefore once again talking about something you're not qualified to do
Being at number one on the UK itunes for 2 days is not necessarily going to lead to a lot of sales. The album has already fallen a position. It did not make it onto the no.1 position in the US, it is currently 8th.
The album has also been at #1,3, 4 and 7 on Amazon UK at the same time (CD, DVD, BR, Vinyl). It’s still up there.
Even though BonJovi has now taken over #1. But BonJovi has only 1 item on the list, not 4. ;)

The QueenOnline shop is currently out of DVDs and BRs. The album is doing fine.

Listened to the beginning of it on Spotify and it doesn't sound bad. Adam Lambert actually works better when you take the visual aspect away. They should have smuggled in a few rarities there though, could have been expanded easily by 4 or 5 songs.
interesting point, hadn't thought about it before now.
without the visuals, he is less anoying

Vocal Harmony I would never buy anything with Adam Lamberts limp screeching vocals on it and yes i have heard the album.
Money could buy better believe me and this live album is pure crap.
I will not be insulted as fellow Queen fan of over 46 years to buy this ridiculous karaoke shin dig of hoplessness.

The CD is at #4 on Amazon US. Not setting the world on fire but definitely respectable.

Adam is not responsible for any of Queen's success because they are Queen they are rock gods and they can make there own success,
Adam needs Queen more than Queen needs Adam.

Wrong. Queen are able to tour because of Lambert. They've made it clear countless times they didn't intend touring again after Paul Rodgers. They found him and offered him the role of Queen+ front man.

Their current success isn't solely down to Lambert, but if they weren't out there touring on the scale they do then their current success/position in the media or public conciseness would not be what it is and to do that Lambert is as much an important part of it as are Brian May and Roger Taylor.

Adam is only a guest so you have told me a thousand times although ( i know better he is on full time in the band now)
But be serious here Queen are legends just like The Beatles they do not really need to be reminded of by the British public and even The Beatles are still
as popular as ever and they have not had a karaoke singer in there band to raise awareness of the band.
No Freddie built Queen up to be the monster band they became and Brian & Roger are now paying tribute to the extraordinary front man they once had and who they took for granted back then.
Now they realise actually Freddie was amazing and his ideas and performances were outstanding and by taking on a new flamboyant gay singer onboard they thought they could recreate what they once had with Freddie but how wrong they are, for a start Freddie was a REAL musician playing piano writing songs having hit after hit, what does Adam fetch to the table apart from buckets of eyeliner and sequins, just a sharp bland singing voice and plenty of in your face camp and stupidity. Not the same thing this it?
You may defend Adam but deep down you know he does not have the real credentials and professionalism to match Freddie ever.
Mercury was always too talented and clever even for cocky Adam Lambert.

no live album will set the world on fire.

I seem to recall there was quite a buzz about Return of the Champions in 2005. #12 on the UK chart.

(pre and post the BoRhap movie is of course a game changer)

It sounds like you have really believed the hype. Like someone wisely pointed out above, Queen have been on par with other legends like The Beatles or Pink Floyd and they would have been just fine with or without Lambert. Honestly, get some distance, man. Some of my friends who do like good music hardly even know who Lambert is, although they know Freddie of course, even though they don't have a single Queen album in their collection. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to jump into this whole idiotic QAL love/hate spectacle, so don't expect many more contributions from me on this.

Dito ,many times i have had to tell people with an interest in rock music who Glambert is,"he was runner up in the American Pop Idol Show."Sounds great doesn't it ?!! Some people have even been surprised when I tell them that Queen are still going.

It was over 10 years ago Brian and Roger hissed at shows like the X-Factor & American Idol along with Elton John and a few more elite rock stars,
who would have thought Brian would get soft as custard cream biscuit once dropped in a cup of hot tea and decide to take a contestant on from one of those shows!
This band Queen were once a respectable hard tight fitting rock band not standing for crass or cheesiness in there circle of magic until that is Brian thought of a way to get current again
with the young audiences, take on a pretty boy and hey presto his back on the bandwagon again.........
Well many pure ardent fans like myself were shocked and how could Brian trash this once great band that Freddie worked so hard to get famous?
Well just look at the proof before Brian went bonkers employing Lambert.
He got together with Five that boyband hoping to get some exposure and then he worked with that knob Dappy yeah a druggie, you see Brian does not give a toss
who he works with now if it gets him in the limelight then job done and fk Freddie and his labour of love all those years Queen.

The entire message board has been ruined by a handful of idiots who just fight each other.

You have made this message board not worth visiting for most people who just want to chat about Queen.
